Plumbing Engineer (HYBRID)

We are currently seeking a Plumbing Engineer with 5-10 years of experience. This firm works on a diverse range of projects around the world, giving most engineers the opportunity to gain experience across many different building types. These include sports facilities, theaters, convention centers, hospitals, laboratories, office buildings, municipal facilities, multifamily developments, and more. Plumbing Engineers are integrated within the Mechanical Team and are typically brought in for the firm's larger, more complex projects-such as stadiums, arenas, hospitals, airports, and convention centers-making their work especially dynamic and high-impact.
Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with strong proficiency in Revit and hands-on experience designing large-scale plumbing systems. A deep understanding of complex plumbing systems is essential. Ideal candidates will also have experience managing projects, leading teams, and working directly with clients. A PE or EIT certification is preferred, and LEED accreditation is a plus.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience in plumbing design or a similar discipline
- Comfortable using Revit MEP and AutoCAD for design work
- Solid experience designing and coordinating complex plumbing systems
- Proven ability to manage projects and communicate effectively with clients
- Successful experience in project management and client interaction
- Someone who's shown leadership-whether that's mentoring junior staff, leading projects, or taking initiative on teams
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Either a PE license or EIT certification is preferred
- LEED accreditation is a bonus, but not a must
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Work environment:
This role is based in Golden, CO and offers a hybrid work schedule - 3 in-office days (Mondays required), remote Fridays, and half-day Fridays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
