Meet the Team The Photonic Integrated Circuits (PIC) team is a small, dynamic group that develops advanced photonics chips for optical communications products. Your Impact Assist in the design, simulation, layout, and testing of photonic components and circuits. You will work very closely with the entire PIC team covering a wide variety of directions, including silicon photonics and III-V device designs, simulation, foundry process development, production tapeout, PIC testing, and production support. You will also work closely with millimeter wave design team, packaging team, and module hardware / software / optics testing team in building complete products. Key Essential Functions: Testing of photonic components and circuits on die, wafer, and assembly levels. Building and managing test databases to support R&D activities based on data analysis and correlations. Minimum Qualifications: Ph. D. degree, Bachelors +5 years, or Masters +3 years of experience in engineering, data science or physical science disciplines Prior experience in wafer level or large scale electronic or electro-optic test Prior experience in database or data analysis software, especially that related to IC testing Scripting languages: Python, C# Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in building or managing wafer probe test stations, especially photonic or RF wafer-level tests Prior experience with solid-state physics, integrated photonics, and opto-electronics, and integrated circuits Prior experience with photonic component testing. Prior experience with photonics numerical simulation principle and tools.
