Job Responsibilities
Execute electrical/electronic design duties including system development, integration, and testing for a variety of security detection products. Develop design specification documents including system specifications, schematics, and PCB designs. Convert conceptual designs into complete product designs, including connectors, cables, and wiring to meet the system criteria. Create test procedures and test fixtures to support design validation and production testing.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, with 7+ years of experience; or a Master's degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience. Experience designing and developing hardware solutions for new products including high-gain/low-noise analog processing, detector to the ADC, high-speed digital design, knowledge of clock boundaries conditions and asynchronous data collection, experience developing analog data acquisition hardware using op-amps, active filters, and high-resolution ADCs. Experience with MCU system design for hardware design and embedded software design. Experience with FPGA design suites and simulation tools, like Xilinx and Lattice. Experience with Altium Designer Schematic Capture and PCB Layout design suite. Knowledge of product development cycle including releases. Experience with high-voltage (8kV) board design. Knowledge of ion mobility spectrometry.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $73.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
