Patient Access Representative

Provide administrative support for Patient Access. Manages various miscellaneous front desk office responsibilities and initiates check-in. Schedules new, follow-up appointments for UHS-Internal and Amazon Connect calls/provider task list. Manages and maintains Electronic Health Records (EHR) (MissionControl). Manages patient reminders and process daily reports. Participate in other activities as appropriate and as assigned. Demonstrates in regular and punctual attendance pattern. Exhibits behaviors consistent with organizational values by demonstrating respect and professionalism, adhering to customer service standards and policies, maintaining patient confidentiality, and actively engaging in quality improvement efforts. Readily accepts other responsibilities and participates in other activities and committees as assigned.

High school diploma or GED. Three years of experience with clerical functions working in the front office of a healthcare/medical facility. Experience collecting/verifying health insurance information. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a professional demeanor. Accuracy in grammar and punctuation. Outstanding organizational skills. Attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to learn tasks quickly with minimal training and supervision. Flexibility with shifting priorities. Ability to maintain confidentiality of protected health information. Regular and punctual attendance. Exhibits customer service-oriented behavior and excellent public relation skills in all aspects of work. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
