Pay: $86800 - $102700 / year (paid hourly) + 10% night shift differential **up to $112970 / year w/ WA State EL07 license and strong experience** Schedule: Sun - Wed; 5p - 5a or 7p - 7a (TBD); 4 days on, 3 days off then 3 days on, 4 days off **will work M-F, day shift for training period** Location: Kirkland, WA | Amazon What this job involves: As a Critical Facilities Engineer at JLL, you will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and performing preventive maintenance on all building systems in critical environments. Working under the direction of the Engineering Manager, you will ensure continuous operation of fire/life safety, mechanical, electrical, and hot water systems in complex facilities. This role requires technical expertise to analyze system operations, troubleshoot problems, and take corrective actions to maintain 100% uptime and compliance with customer service level agreements. You will also oversee contractor activities, maintain detailed engineering logs, and ensure strict adherence to critical awareness processes and procedures. What your day-to-day will look like: Monitor and maintain building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, and air conditioning equipment Record readings and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper equipment operation Analyze system operations to identify and resolve problems/malfunctions Oversee activities of contractors working within the building Maintain engineering logs, data sheets, and records of building rounds Ensure adherence to Critical Awareness Process and established engineering guidelines Support the development of utility/electrical/mechanical switching procedures Implement and coordinate Preventative Maintenance Programs as directed Required Qualifications: High School diploma, GED equivalent, or technical training/degree 3+ years' experience in facilities operations, maintenance, and engineering Technical knowledge of critical environments, HVAC, UPS, and associated infrastructure Proficiency in computer applications including MS Office Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to follow and understand work management processes and requirements Knowledge of building systems including Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Direct Digital Control (DDC) Ability to communicate effectively and articulate technical information clearly Preferred Qualifications: Operating Engineer (BOC) certification or other applicable licenses Universal CFC's license or ability to obtain one within 90 days WA State Electrical License 01, 07, or 06A Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Knowledge of energy management and sustainability programs Experience supporting regulatory inspections and environmental audits Presentation skills for delivering technical information to various audiences Experience working with client employees/tenants in critical facilities Location: Onsite Inclusion Statement At JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way — for our clients, ourselves and our fellow employees.
