About the Opportunity: iParametrics is seeking experienced Nuclear Engineers to join our growing roster in support of upcoming nuclear energy design and construction initiatives. These roles are part of a high-visibility international effort to deliver the first AP1000 nuclear reactors in Europe. Candidates selected for the roster will be considered for immediate and future assignments aligned with their qualifications. About iParametrics: iParametrics is a consulting firm specializing in program management, cost engineering, risk analysis, and disaster recovery support. We are proud to serve as a subcontractor on major U.S. government and global infrastructure projects. For this program, we are supporting a leading prime contractor with engineering talent to advance one of the most ambitious nuclear energy projects in recent history. Key Responsibilities: Contribute to the design, analysis, and implementation of nuclear systems, components, and safety protocols.
Support project teams with nuclear licensing, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate across disciplines (mechanical, electrical, I&C, civil/structural) to ensure integrated system performance.
Assist with design reviews, procurement specifications, calculations, and technical documentation.
Provide input during construction phases to ensure engineering intent is maintained.
Engage in technical risk identification and mitigation related to nuclear systems.
Support field teams during installation, commissioning, and turnover of nuclear components or systems.
Qualifications: Basic Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting nuclear energy projects.
Familiarity with ASME, NRC, and DOE standards applicable to nuclear systems.
Strong technical writing and document control skills.
U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting AP1000 or other PWR/BWR reactor designs.
Previous work on DOE or commercial nuclear facility design/construction.
PE license or advanced degree in nuclear engineering or a related field.
Experience with systems such as NSSS, I&C, containment structures, or reactor safety systems.
Familiarity with international project delivery, especially in Europe or the Middle East.
