As a nuclear engineer on our team, you will support the development of new reactor and fuel cycle technologies by providing advice and guidance on the design, evaluation, and management of government and private sector sponsored Research and Development (R&D) programs.

You will engage and collaborate with a group of technology experts to leverage rapidly maturing technologies from other sectors to further the design, manufacture, and fueling of advanced nuclear reactors. You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with authoring technical papers, reports, or program plans for technical and non-technical audiences on research pertaining to nuclear science or engineering
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Doctorate degree in Nuclear Engineering or Science

Nice If You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience in postdoctoral, academic, or industry roles related to neutronics simulation and fuel performance codes, thermal hydraulics, or reactor materials and manufacturing
  • Experience in an advisory role
  • Ability to demonstrate creativity and resourcefulness when dealing with uncertainty and ask insightful questions that challenge traditional thinking
  • Possession of excellent communication, organizational, client service, and analytical skills
