IgniteAction, a joint venture between ActioNet and Ignite has an immediate opening for a Senior Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer , you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity, performance, and availability of the Census Bureau’s network infrastructure. You will lead incident response efforts, proactively monitor systems, and serve as a technical resource for both your team and agency stakeholders. This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer who thrives in high-impact environments and is passionate about operational excellence and continuous improvement. Location: Remote Clearance Requirement: Public Trust High (Eligibility to US Citizens Only) / Background Check What You’ll Do Monitor, troubleshoot, and diagnose network outages and performance issuesLead incident response and root cause analysis for major network eventsProvide mentoring and technical oversight to junior NOC staffCoordinate with ISPs, vendors, and internal federal stakeholders to resolve networking issuesAllocate resources effectively to ensure 24/7 operational support for the Census IOCFulfill on-call responsibilities to ensure continuity of critical services What You Bring At least 5+ years of experience supporting and administering network infrastructure, preferably in a federal environment..
