As a Network Engineer on our team, you’ll use your experience in developing algorithms incorporated into models associated with the research and technologies and systems involving traditional circuit switched networks, data networks, access technologies, wireless systems, the media to carry such services, the protocols required for the completion of transport and services, operation of networks, management of network resources, and traffic performance modeling of such networks to support the nation’s defense and respond to evolving adversaries. You’ll analyze current working infrastructures and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems. Your knowledge of network protocols, equipment, emerging technology, and configurations will come in handy as you optimize client operations and modernization. Join us. The world can’t wait. You Have: 10+ years of experience creating model modules and engineering solutions using networking or telecommunications technologies and systems
Experience developing algorithms for models using networking technologies
Experience gathering needed data to specify system or component performance and interface requirements
Experience performing data captures to obtain network performance information
Experience in analyzing and modeling questions to determine technical modeling approaches
Experience performing high-level design of the models, including system and component performances and interface requirements
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have: Experience managing network resources and provisioning of the resources
Experience in defining specific procedures to be used to solve technical problems

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
