What You’ll Do:
• Decommission old equipment
• Install new equipment
• Respond to outages
• Network Monitoring: Continuously monitor network performance and health using industry-standard tools to ensure optimal functionality.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network issues swiftly, applying best practices and innovative solutions to minimize downtime.
• Provisioning: Configure and provision network equipment and services according to project specifications and best practices.
• Testing: Conduct thorough testing of network components to validate performance, reliability, and security before deployment.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and processes to ensure compliance and ease of access for team members.
What You Bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer, preferably in a data center environment.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and security principles.
• Proficiency in monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, etc.).
• Experience with network provisioning and configuration of routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and collaborate with team members and clients.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site support and client engagements.
