Our client is a leading fiber network services provider, and they are building out the Core Network Engineering team. We have multiple roles for Network Engineers with In-Depth knowledge in the Design, Architecture, Deployment and Testing of Carrier (MSP) Networks. Knowledge of transport, routing protocols, network security,network testing tools and automation essential.

Responsibilities:
Design and develop our client’s core network infrastructure
Create and implement service provider network designs and comprehensive documentation, such as Methods of Procedures, diagrams, and drawings.
Create, deploy and test network designs.
Develop customer service configurations for deployment via network automation and low-touch provisioning.
Collaborate with Network Operations Teams for testing and maintenance.
Qualifications and Experience:
5+ years experience of high tempo network engineering and deployment
MUST HAVE: experience in Broadband, MSP/ISP, Service Provider, Telco, Carrier networks
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred
Technology Subject Matter Areas
OSI Networking Model, on networking, protocol and transport
Industry certification helpful: CCNP, JNCIS-SP, JNCIP, or similar
Routing protocols such as BGP, MPLS, OSPF, ISIS
Transport technologies: FTTX, PON, GPON, XGS-PON, carrier ethernet, legacy fiber
Knowledge of Quality of Service (QoS), including Layer 2 COS and Layer 3 QoS.
Testing tools and platforms: SNMP, Syslog, DNS, AAA, DHCP, L2 VPN, L3 VPN technologies, VRFs, LAG technologies, CGNAT, and VOIP.
Networking and Cybersecurity skills MUST: Firewall, VPN, IOS-XR or JUNOS.
