These networks play a fundamental role in ensuring the seamless delivery of shipments to Amazon retail customers, impacting hundreds of thousands of associates and operators of advanced systems.
We seek a proactive Network Development Engineer to provide technical leadership in designing next-generation networks capable of supporting robotics, industrial IoT, sensors, drones, and mobile devices. You will leverage data-driven decision-making and iterative design approaches to create robust, scalable systems with a strong emphasis on information security and network reliability.
The role includes:
Identifying, developing, and delivering technological solutions to enhance the availability of wireless networks.
Collaborating with peer teams to address customer challenges and devise solutions utilizing wired technologies.
Evaluating and integrating new technologies through lab testing and proof of concept (PoC) initiatives.
Creating automated solutions for infrastructure testing, deployment, and lifecycle management.
Engaging in a follow-the-sun on-call rotation for real-time network event resolution and customer support.
Mentoring network support teams to foster skills and reinforce best practices.
