LRS Consulting Services is seeking an experienced .NET Software Engineer for a contract-to-hire opportunity with our financial client in downtown Chicago, IL!
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable software systems. Collaborate with product managers, architects, designers, and engineers to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, reliable, and effective customer-focused software solutions. Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on Microsoft Azure, following best practices for cloud architecture. Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and testable code using modern engineering best practices such as CI/CD and automated testing. Participate in code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing. Troubleshoot and resolve performance, reliability, and scalability issues. Contribute to architectural planning and technology roadmaps. Other responsibilities as assigned. Requirements: Minimum 3 year hands-on development experience in Microsoft .NET frameworks Strong proficiency in C#.NET Proficiency in SQL (incl., table structures, schema, and complex queries) Proficiency in front-end technologies including and especially JavaScript with PHP preferred Solid understanding of RESTful APIs- Experience with Azure (incl., Azure Functions & Azure App Services) preferred. Experience with Azure DevOps preferred. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes preferred. Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer. Corp to Corp candidates will not be considered. Candidate must reside in Illinois, Pennsylvania, or Missouri.
The base range for this contract position is $40.00 - $55.00 per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
