Need Sr. Network Engineer (data cabling and data networks exp) Contract Essential Job Functions: Support a large facility with computing and network environment experience (minimum 5 years) Implement data cabling and data network switching infrastructure (minimum 5 years) Experience in Network communications: Active Directory, TCP/IP, VOIP, DHCP, LAN, WAN, DNS Knowledge of industry standards: ANSI/TIA 568-C.2, IEEE, TIA/EIA; network security knowledge Proficiency in diagramming software for network topology and design reports Project management skills to coordinate with vendors, contractors, clients, and interdepartmental teams Strong verbal and written communication skills Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience Responsibilities: Design rack, switch, and cabling infrastructure layouts using best practices Coordinate network switch migrations and cabling with client's district network POCs and vendors Generate and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and procedures Create visual topology diagrams for network, cabling, and switches Track project tasks and liaise between project managers, stakeholders, and vendors Identify and mitigate project risks and conflicts; validate configurations against existing standards Interested candidates can call 412-212-0715 or email #J-18808-Ljbffr
