Job Title: Mid Data Engineer – GenAI Support
Location: Orlando, Florida
Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)

We are seeking skilled Mid-Level Data Engineers to support GenAI-related data operations within a leading financial services environment. This role focuses on building scalable data pipelines and integrations leveraging AWS and Python, with a strong emphasis on secure, performant, and API-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and workflows using AWS services such as EventBridge, Step Functions, Lambda, and Secrets Manager.
Develop scalable, reusable Python-based applications to manage and transform data.
Integrate with internal and external services via RESTful APIs.
Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand and deliver on data requirements.
Optimize and monitor data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Implement secure practices for managing secrets and sensitive data using AWS Secrets Manager.
Proactively troubleshoot and resolve data issues to ensure smooth pipeline execution and timely data availability.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Integration Engineer (minimum 3–5 years).
Strong hands-on expertise with AWS services including:
AWS Lambda
AWS Step Functions
AWS EventBridge
AWS Secrets Manager
S3
Advanced proficiency in Python, especially for data workflows and REST API integration.
Solid experience with SQL for querying and detecting source data changes.
Experience in data modeling and data transformation to support web service contracts.
Familiarity with data compliance and best practices for secure data management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Nice to Have (Preferred):
Exposure to GenAI tools, services, or prompt engineering.
Experience working in financial domains with large, sensitive datasets.
Knowledge of CI/CD practices for data pipeline deployment.
