: The Texas General Land Office (GLO) seeks an experienced Senior System Administrator to lead the optimization, security, and governance of its Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Azure AD. This role supports a high-priority tenant migration initiative and requires strong technical acumen, PowerShell scripting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct full assessment of the existing GLO Microsoft 365 tenant and recommend improvements.

Develop policies, standards, and procedures for configuration, access, compliance, and administration.

Act as technical advisor during a major M365 tenant migration project.

Ensure activities meet federal compliance standards (e.g., FedRAMP, CJIS, NIST 800-53).

Implement Microsoft 365 best practices in identity, collaboration, and security services.

Automate tasks using PowerShell, Power Automate, and Power Apps.

Support tenant hardening, conditional access, DLP, retention policies, and audit logging.

Validate service functionality post-migration and troubleshoot configuration gaps.

Provide Tier 3 support during transition/stabilization phases.

Maintain detailed documentation (runbooks, change logs, configurations).

Track deliverables and ensure project is completed on time and within scope.
