POSITION SUMMARY
The duties of this Mechanical Project Engineer are to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to technical specifications, schedule and budget. This includes acquiring resources & coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants. The Project Manager will also define the project objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
Duties & Responsibilities Direct and manage project development from beginning to end. Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and other stakeholders. Prepare communications at a detail level appropriate for target audiences. Liaise with project stakeholders (internal and external) proactively and when special requests are made. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. Maintain all project documentation. Proactively manage changes in project scope & devise contingency plans. Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management. Other duties as assigned by supervisor
