Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their client's esteemed team in Charleston, South Carolina. This role is pivotal within the organization, as the selected candidate will lead the mechanical design department, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive and client-ready design packages. Lead the mechanical design department, overseeing the entire mechanical design process. Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure complete and client-ready design packages for senior mechanical leadership review. Train the mechanical design team, identifying weaknesses or forecasting necessary skills for new projects. Obtain a Professional Engineer (PE) license within 12 months if not already licensed. Demonstrate familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) work; experience with Revit is mandatory. Exhibit detail-oriented skills in plumbing and HVAC design , recognizing necessary elements in plan sets. Maintain a comprehensive list of software proficiencies. Qualifications 5-10 years of experience as a mechanical engineer, with or without a PE, but must have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Proficiency in Revit and other relevant software applications. Strong leadership and coordination skills to manage a design team effectively. Exceptional detail orientation and ability to identify key elements in mechanical designs. Required Work Hours
