As we continue to grow and evolve, we are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering team.
Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in mechanical design, product development, and cross-functional collaboration. This position plays a key role in developing and improving our mechanical systems and assemblies, supporting both new product development and ongoing improvements to existing products.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, model, and draft mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks and other CAD tools. Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and product structures. Support the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process through documentation, analysis, and implementation. Contribute to prototyping efforts and develop innovative solutions to engineering challenges. Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales, and R&D teams throughout the product lifecycle. Assist in testing, validation, and troubleshooting of products and systems. Participate in sourcing of materials and components as needed. Support continuous improvement initiatives across products and processes. Document design work and maintain records in compliance with company standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 2-3 years of professional engineering experience. 5+ years of experience in CAD modeling and drafting (SolidWorks preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Teams and Excel. Experience with creating product BOMs and assemblies. Familiarity with Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes. Strong problem-solving and innovative thinking skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with industrial filtration systems or HVAC applications. Ability to interpret and work from schematics, floor plans, and industrial layouts. Exposure to manufacturing and assembly environments. Knowledge of 3D printing or injection molding processes. Experience with ERP systems and engineering testing protocols. Leadership or mentorship experience. Background in R&D product testing and validation. Certification in Lean 6sigma.
