Job Description

Responsibilities
Support the design and development of custom automation equipment and one-off machines.
Collaborate with experienced engineers to implement mechanical solutions for manufacturing processes.
Assist in progressing projects with minimal supervision.
Contribute to design reviews, documentation, and integration efforts.
Essential Skills
Mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing or automation environment.
Proficiency in SolidWorks, transitioning to Siemens NX.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in machine design, equipment design, or automation systems. (ideal)
Familiarity with motion systems, multi-axis mechanisms, and control systems.
Experience designing custom machinery for internal use or external clients.
Exposure to 3D printing systems, robotics, or pick-and-place automation.
Ability to think critically about cost, speed, accuracy, and motion path in design decisions.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
