The company is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Orlando team. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for large-scale projects. Perform detailed stress, fatigue, and load calculations , as well as acceleration force and failure analysis. Conduct hazard and risk assessments to ensure safety and compliance with ASTM amusement ride safety standards. Design and document mechanical assemblies, mounting, and bolted connections using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks. Develop system documentation, including test plans, design descriptions, and maintenance procedures. Design and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic control systems . Supervise and coordinate with contractors during installation and commissioning . Serve as a technical lead on major projects and manage smaller projects ($50k$250k). Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required) 5-10 years of mechanical engineering experience , ideally with full system design responsibility Strong background in stress/fatigue analysis, risk assessment, and hazard mitigation Experience with theme park ride design or large mechanical systems Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks Experience supervising contractors and managing installations Ability to travel up to 35%
