We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative engineering team in Longmont, CO. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of advanced mechanical systems, with a focus on RF architectures and technologies. You will be involved in the full product lifecycle from concept and prototyping to testing and production-supporting projects that span multiple domains including aerospace, defense, and communications. The work includes building RF systems for emerging space applications and multi-domain communications architectures, enabling mission-critical capabilities across a wide range of platforms.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience
Hands-on experience in hardware development, qualification, and delivery
Proficiency in SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM
Strong drafting skills with knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and tolerance analysis
Familiarity with project stage-gate reviews (e.g., PDR, CDR)
Experience instress, modal, and thermal analysis
Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person
Preferred Skills:
Background in satellite hardware design
Knowledge of design for manufacturability and production optimization
Experience with simulation tools like SolidWorks Simulation, Thermal Desktop, NASTRAN, or ANSYS
Familiarity with RF systems, antennas, and electronic enclosures
Understanding of space hardware standards (materials, coatings, COTS, NASA standards)
Experience in AS9100 or similar quality systems
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
