Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Mechanical or Civil Engineer with a strong background in natural gas transmission projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of industry experience and be capable of managing projects from concept through completion while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and client expectations.
Job Duties: •    Lead and support engineering efforts for M&R (Measurement & Regulation) stations, facility stations, and linear pipeline projects. •    Oversee and coordinate DOT reviews, permitting, and relocation projects. •    Serve as a liaison for consultant-led and Georgia Power projects, including fielding technical questions, providing project updates, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders. •    Manage engineering services requests, ensuring timely responses and deliverables. •    Prepare, review, and finalize close-out drawings and documentation for completed projects. •    Take ownership of projects from initial concept through design, execution, and close-out, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. •    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance, safety standards, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications: •    Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field. •    Minimum of 5 years of experience in the natural gas industry, with a focus on transmission projects. •    Proven experience in M&R stations, facility stations, and linear pipeline engineering. •    Familiarity with DOT regulations, compliance reviews, and relocation projects. •    Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with consultants, clients, and project partners. •    Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from planning through completion.
