In this role, you will work as part of a team that is transforming manufacturing engineering by developing, delivering, and deploying technology and business processes aimed at making the overall system more efficient and contributing to the company's goals to improve quality and cost. The team's mission is to transform the business to a "3D Factory from the Start" mindset.

Responsibilities
What you'll do...

Develop manufacturing engineering problem statements, user stories, and process flows by interfacing with Ford's global business units
Create Requirements that address the global business units' needs
Use your previous engineering experience as well as Siemens toolset experience to draft solution proposals to meet the business requirements
Bring global teams together to align on standard common solutions
Work with IT and other teams to support their development and testing of the solution
Support teammates who will train and deploy your solutions to global users
Develop a roadmap that continuously improves the toolset and processes
Have an opportunity to broaden your knowledge and skillset in many other areas of manufacturing engineering by working in a team that has significant experience in both manufacturing engineering and technology
Prepare management presentations
Interface with a diverse group of global regions and cultures
Operate in stressful situations within timing constraints
Work with minimal direct supervision

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Qualifications
You'll Have...

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related discipline, or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
Stamping manufacturing engineering in automotive or a similar high-volume industry
Machining manufacturing engineering in automotive or a similar high-volume industry
Body Construction manufacturing engineering in automotive or a similar high-volume industry
Microsoft Office experience (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Willingness to travel (infrequent but may be required)
Even Better, You'll have...

Experience in Siemens Teamcenter(preferably AWC), NX, Simulations
Experience with Jira and Confluence to track and deliver projects.
Experience with Miro or equivalent (Lucid, Visio, etc)
Experience with tooling, process, quality, and/or facility equipment in a launch and/or production environment.
Previous experience in delivering new Teamcenter, NX, and Simulation methods and processes that improve quality and cost
