Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead continuous improvement and support production operations in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on process optimization, technology integration, cost and quality improvements, and safety. Strong communication, lean manufacturing, and project management skills are essential. Key Responsibilities
Drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives. Integrate technology and reduce costs. Improve equipment utilization and product quality. Support new product introductions. Ensure workplace safety. Optimize layouts to enhance flow and reduce handling. Conduct root cause analysis and implement Poka Yoke and preventive actions. Required Skills
Manufacturing Engineering expertise. PLC programming and CAD proficiency. Experience with fabrication (laser cutting, brake press, welding, powder coating). Process and fixture design from concept to production. Project management and Six Sigma knowledge. Machining experience. Qualifications
BS in Engineering/Operations + 2 years’ experience, or 5+ years in manufacturing/process engineering. Familiarity with quality systems (PPAP, FMEA, APQP, SPC, Control Plans). Preferred experience in metal fabrication, welding, machining, and heavy equipment manufacturing. Work Environment
50/50 split between office and production floor (may vary). Casual dress code (khakis/jeans with polo). Team of 4–5 members. Start time: 6:30–7:00 AM; typical day exceeds 8 hours. Benefits include employee-owned stock, public shares, and quarterly bonuses. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
