You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering, to identify and mitigate any risks that could impact production. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure that hardware is produced efficiently and effectively.
Your responsibilities will include: Leading a team of manufacturing engineers in supporting Development Programs under GMLRS Ensuring that suppliers and make sites are producing conforming hardware that meets customer requirements Developing and implementing manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective production Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks that could impact production Working with suppliers and make sites to resolve any issues that may arise during production Ensuring that all manufacturing activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures

Desired Skills
Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical people. Demonstrated effective communication skills including verbal, listening, technical writing and presentations. Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, including team building, collaboration and developing enduring business relationships. Master's degree in technical discipline (electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, etc.). Experience in design for manufacturing / assembly or design to cost. Experience in support of production processes. Experience working proposals. Ability to forecast budget and bid work for new contracts. Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM) Previous experience implementing change to improve processes / Process Improvement experience. Proven ability to improve cost, schedule, quality and/or safety.

National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $81,600 - $143,865. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
