Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in optimizing manufacturing processes, improving product quality, and ensuring efficiency in production. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering principles and experience in the manufacturing sector, particularly with metal and sheet metal assembly processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and product quality.
  • Utilize CAD software, specifically SolidWorks, to create detailed designs and models.
  • Implement and maintain geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) practices in manufacturing.
  • Oversee the fabrication, assembly, and welding processes to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and implement solutions.
  • Conduct regular assessments and revisions of manufacturing processes to enhance performance and quality control.
  • Maintain revision control and documentation for all engineering changes and process improvements.
  • Train and support production staff on new processes and technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing engineering roles, preferably in metal and sheet metal fabrication.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience with CNC machining and drafting.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and other CAD software tools.
  • Familiarity with welding, riveting, and assembly processes.
  • Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) standards.
