Key Areas of Responsibility Develop & implement new processes designed to improve operational efficiency and facilitate setting it up for new products. Plan and design mfg. lines, optimize facility layout, test systems, SOPs, provide assembly trainings for existing and new products/Lines & reconfigurations, support QMS audits as applicable. Work hand in hand with product quality/ design engineering to implement design changes, execute stop order/stop ship, quarantine of defective maternal, coordinate rework etc. Support monitoring Quality policies and procedures, data collection supporting Quality performance targets and subsequent analysis of data to measure against established performance goals. Implement a continuous improvement culture using Six Sigma methodologies by applying the appropriate defect preventions tools to ensure quality improvements Monitor, improve and report on manufacturing quality metrics Conduct detailed product/process audits, identify potential risks and drive actions; provide engineering site support during day-to-day manufacturing build and staging activities Collaborate with cross functional teams on process improvements opportunities, cost reduction and reducing scraps Ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken timely to address any quality issues identified Manage new projects and other additional responsibilities to enable achievement of key business goals.
