As a Manufacturing Engineer I at EPS, you'll be at the forefront of our journey, responsible for creating and executing processes that streamline and automate battery manufacturing. Your expertise will be essential in planning, implementing, and monitoring technology and presenting process improvements. Together, we'll develop manufacturing processes and documentation while optimizing efficiency through careful analysis of equipment layouts, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization.
You'll be instrumental in bringing projects to Manufacturing Readiness Level 10 and making the magic happen by determining the necessary parts, equipment, and tools to meet product specifications. With your keen eye for detail, you'll devise specifications and design documentation while generating comprehensive build documentation and project manuals.
To thrive in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, experience in manufacturing environments, and a flair for managing multiple projects in fast-paced settings. Meeting project milestones and deadlines will be a breeze for you, and your excellent communication and presentation skills will make you an invaluable part of the team.
If you happen to have experience in aerospace battery design and 1-3 years of new product design manufacturing, consider it a bonus!
