This position is located in Milpitas, California.Essential FunctionsManages and administers the recruitment and selection of exempt and non-exempt employees across the organization in alignment with Company initiativesManages, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the department; makes employment-related decisions as necessaryMonitors compliance issues, assesses risk, and makes recommendations as neededApplies experience and expertise to research and problem solve various compensation or staffing initiatives or issuesAdministers internal career opportunities and rewards and recognition programs,Administers the salary survey program and uses data to ensure Company pay ranges and rates are competitive with market demands; ensures compliance with the California Fair Pay Act and other compensation regulationsPrepares compensation analysis, reviews, prepares, and extends offers to select candidatesManages and monitors the employee relocation programTracks and reports on key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity and compensation issues; prepares data including turnover and reasons for leaving, etc.Analyzes internal compensation trends; makes recommendations as neededOversees and administers the immigration program to ensure uninterrupted employment for foreign national employeesAdministers company bonus program, including developing the bonus timeline, reviewing and approving employee bonus allocations, creating worksheets, and confirming bonus eligibilityAdministers the annual merit increase process, including analyzing data, creating worksheets, and preparing upload files for PayrollConducts job analysis and develops job descriptions for all positions within the companyPartners with leaders within the organization on compensation and staffing related matters; builds strong relationships with both internal and external customersManages the expat program, including partnering with corporate regarding annual changes to salary, program guidelines, travel, etc.Develops and delivers customized training solutions to departments, teams, or groups, tracks training or program outcomes and reports results to managementAdheres to all safety policies and proceduresPerforms other duties of a similar nature or level*QualificationsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Human Resources, Organizational Development and/or equivalent relevant experience; PHR or SPHR certification preferredSeven plus years of hands’ on experience working as a Sr. HR Business Partner or HR Manager in a staffing and compensation role in a high-tech, manufacturing, or semiconductor environmentMust have excellent Excel skills; specifically VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data analysisMust have strong experience using Paycom or similar HRIS systemProficient in the use of Microsoft Office ApplicationsKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesStrong knowledge of knowledge of recruitment and staffing principles, practices, and techniquesKnowledge of compensation principle and practicesKnowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office applications to create spreadsheets, Word documents, and presentationsAble to manage programs or projects of various size, scope, and budget successfullyAble to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of contractors, consultants, employees, management, and vendorsAble to work productively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and managementAble to comply with all safety policies and procedures and promote a safe working environmentAble to follow complex verbal or written instructionsAble to lead and influence others in a positive mannerAble to work effectively as part of a team or groupSkilled at exhibiting professionalism, tact, and respect at all timesSkilled at quickly adapting to changing requirements and prioritiesDemonstrated multitasking skillsDemonstrated organizational and time management skillsDemonstrated problem-solving and trouble shooting skillsSelf-motivated, action-oriented, and results-focusedFlexible and able to prioritizeThe annual base salary for this full-time position is between $141,568.00-$208,188.00 + bonus target + benefits. Within the range the individual pay may differ depending on additional factors including job responsibilities, job related knowledge, skills, abilities, education, and experience. The annual base pay range shown is subject to change and may be modified periodically.Working ConditionsThe Manager of Staffing and Compensation works primarily in an office environment from Monday thru Friday. The schedule may be altered from time-to-time to meet business or operational needs; may travel from building-to-building as needed; Stands and walks; performs various fine grasping movements, bends, stoops, and twists; operates a computer and enters information using a keyboard, operates a telephone, and other safety and office equipment.
