Maintenance Reliability / Tooling Engineer Location: Evansville, IN Starting at $95,000 per year Direct Hire Opportunity PTO + Paid Holidays Competitive Benefits Package

Reliance One is seeking a Maintenance Reliability / Tooling Engineer to join our clients team. In this role, you will drive maintenance and tooling initiatives that maximize equipment uptime, improve repair effectiveness, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Youll work closely with technicians, operators, and vendors to enhance reliability, minimize downtime, and optimize tooling performance.

Responsibilities Coordinate with equipment manufacturers and vendors to support operations and maintenance for improved repair effectiveness Collaborate with technicians and operators to identify and implement improvements that minimize downtime Analyze downtime data and lead corrective actions to reduce recurring failures Manage the spare parts program and ensure availability of critical components Lead problem-solving initiatives and train staff in root cause analysis methods Own and drive key performance metrics including MTTR and MTBF for the tooling department

Qualifications Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related) Experience leading projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Hands-on experience with injection mold tooling (design, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair)

Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of electrical systems (24V DC 480V AC), hydraulics, PLCs, HMIs, and process controls Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Background in injection molding or similar processes Experience leading and supervising skilled technician teams
