Maintenance Engineer

A large retail company based out of Cincinnati, OH is looking for a Maintenance Engineer for an onsite direct hire opportunity in Denver, CO. This person will oversee preventive and predictive maintenance as well as lead two direct reports. A relocation package is offered for this position if needed. Essential roles and functions include:

• Leading two direct reports including the Buyer and Scheduler
• Analyzing data and leading direct reports to schedule maintenance and work orders
• Managing the overall health of Maintenance KPIs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
• Overseeing preventive and predictive maintenance within the manufacturing plant
• Partnering with the continuous improvement leader on the effectiveness of the internal preventative maintenance program
• Managing a capital expenditure budget including inventory, cost of supplies, ordering of equipment/parts, reliability, inside contractors, while performing root cause analysis on spend
• Working within CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management Scheduler)
• Managing storeroom inventory
• In charge of ordering parts and inventory for the entire site. This person will be documenting new parts and making sure it is placed correctly
• Monitoring efficiency on systems and mechanics as it relates to preventive maintenance
• Managing the training process for mechanics and managers, including picking the training package platform and location
• Responsible for managing and customizing training within engineering
• 50% on the floor, 50% admin behind a desk

Skills and requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
• Preventative Maintenance Leadership
• Food Manufacturing experience
