Overview: We are seeking a skilled Machine Learning Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will research, design, develop, and test OS-level software, compilers, and network distribution software to address massive social data and predictive challenges. Responsibilities: Engage in projects involving classification and optimization, including payment fraud detection, click-through prediction, ads ranking, spam detection, and recommendation systems. Develop scalable systems, algorithms, and tools using deep learning and regression methods. Analyze and synthesize technology requirements and identify bottlenecks in our systems. Create high-efficiency solutions leveraging advanced machine learning techniques. Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver code based on general guidance from your supervisor. Adapt machine learning methods for modern parallel environments, such as distributed clusters and GPUs. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. 6 years of experience in a computer-related occupation, with 2 years focusing on: Machine learning, recommendation systems, or data mining. Scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Hack. Developing machine learning models from concept to business impact. Proficiency in C/C++ and Java or other scripting languages like Perl or PHP. A proven track record of delivering high-quality work with reliability. Experience in setting technical direction and fostering cross-functional partnerships. Improving code quality through testing, monitoring, and proactive adjustments. Compensation: The public compensation range for this role is $224,497/year to $240,240/year, plus bonuses, equity, and benefits.
