Litigation Legal Assistant - Insurance Defense (In?Office) Austin, TX
A well?established law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant / Litigation Secretary with insurance defense and recent law firm experience to support its litigation team. This is a fully in?office role supporting multiple attorneys in a fast?paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits
* Salary range: $60,000-$80,000 , depending on experience
* Discretionary year?end bonus

Position Overview
* Support 3-4 attorneys , primarily aligned with one partner and assigned associates
Key Responsibilities
* Draft and manage correspondence, discovery, and pleadings
* Maintain attorney calendars and litigation deadlines
* Timekeeping and expense report processing
* Trial preparation and coordination
* File documents in state and federal courts
* Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
* Edit, proofread, and format legal documents
Requirements
* Insurance defense experience required
* Recent law firm experience
* Previous legal assistant or litigation secretary experience
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to manage multiple attorneys with varying work styles
