Position Description: This position shall perform tier one Network Operations Center (NOC) operational support of the end-to-end unclassified base communications architecture supporting JBPHH and annex locations in the state of Hawaii. The lead shall perform network operations of the JBPHH NEVVS-HI Voice and Video network and its associated network distribution systems architecture across JBPHH and its annexes. The Lead manages the team that shall be responsible for managing the performance of the Telephony network, fault identification, basic remote troubleshooting & fault restoration of the entire path for the delivery of the telephony network architecture. To include direct collaboration support with government field service technicians in support of service delivery and fault resolution of existing services. The perfect candidate shall possess relevant experience with a comparable level of responsibility in a project of similar size, scope, and complexity. Canidates shall be available between 0700 and 1500 (HST) Monday through Friday except for Federal holidays. Shall have a Secret Clearance prior to the completion of the contract Phase-In. Shall have 5+ years of documented experience as an IT operations lead/manager in the telecommunication industry. Shall be the central point of contact with the customer for the performance of all the work under this contract. Shall also be capable of interpreting technical data, using a variety of methods and approaches to performing the work in this contract.
