Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr

Position Overview
The Lead Mechanical Engineer will oversee the design and development of mechanical systems, focusing on powertrain components and motors. This role involves leading a team of engineers, ensuring high-quality design practices, and driving innovation in mechanical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers in the design and development of powertrain systems.
Conduct advanced simulations and analyses using ANSYS to optimize product performance and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and develop engineering solutions.
Review and approve design specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company objectives.
Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring timely completion of engineering tasks.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer with a focus on powertrain systems and motors.
Strong leadership skills with experience in managing engineering teams.
Proficient in using ANSYS (or similar) for mechanical analysis and simulation.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
