OTC Services, Inc. in Louisville, OH seeks a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer. Responsibilities: perform design engineering from scratch, reverse engineering, component selection, and create detailed drawings from OEM documents; review and analyze customer specifications pertaining to the design of power transformers from 5 to 60 MVA base and up to 138,000V; ensure all designs meet customer specifications with special attention to OTC Services commitment to quality; schedule and manage a team of Mechanical Design and Controls Engineers. Position requires a Bachelor’s (or educ. equiv.) Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial Engineering or related and 3 yrs. experience in the job offered or related occupation. Experience must have included 3 yrs. designing power transformers and must have experience in use of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, SolidWorks Simulation and Visual Basic.
