Summary: Meta is on the lookout for a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer to strengthen our innovative engineering team. Minimum Qualifications: Experience in leading projects with a significant impact across the industry. Proven track record of effective communication and collaboration across various functions. Ability to mentor and influence engineers across the organization. Experience in planning comprehensive multi-year roadmaps that align immediate projects with overarching goals. A drive for leading substantial cross-functional engineering endeavors. 12+ years of programming expertise (Python, C++, Java, or R) combined with a strong technical foundation. 8+ years in machine learning, recommendation systems, or AI. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in shipping products to millions or launching new product lines. Familiarity with Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark, or related big data technologies. Expertise in machine learning, recommendation systems, pattern recognition, NLP, or data mining.
