Overview GovCIO is seeking a highly skilled Lead Information Assurance Engineer to support our client's Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) contract needs. This position offers the flexibility of full remote work. Responsibilities: Guide and manage efforts to remediate system vulnerabilities and close identified Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms). Update security documentation for BIES systems required to achieve and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO). Collaborate with project teams to gather evidence and resolve findings. Work alongside Information Assurance Engineers to assess system security posture and remediate identified vulnerabilities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of information assurance experience (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 5 years of experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF). Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification is required. IA baseline certification is required. Expert-level proficiency in assessing, documenting, and remediating cybersecurity vulnerabilities. Must possess an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to maintain an SCI clearance. Actual pay offered may vary based on individual factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity.
