We provide comprehensive engineering, procurement, management, and construction services for the execution of large, complex AC power substations, including expansions and electrification across five key segments.

Are you ready to lead cutting-edge substation projects that power the futurefrom data centers to energy storage? Join us as a Lead Engineer at Linxon you'll take charge of engineering execution for high- and medium-voltage substation projects, including AIS, GIS, BESS, and infrastructure ventures. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll ensure safety, quality, and cost-efficiency while driving technical excellence across all phases of project delivery.

Engineering Leadership:

  • Lead and coordinate all engineering activities (internal and outsourced) during proposal, design, and construction phases.
  • Ensure strict adherence to project contracts, scopes of work, and technical specifications.

Project Execution:

  • Develop and maintain engineering schedules focused on on-time delivery, quality, and cost control.
  • Own and update the Document Deliverables list throughout the project lifecycle.

Design & Innovation:

  • Support the creation of design criteria and engineering deliverables (e.g., single-line diagrams, layout drawings).
  • Drive innovation and cost-saving strategies during proposal development.

Vendor & Subcontractor Management:

  • Evaluate vendor/subcontractor bids and assist in contract negotiations.
  • Ensure bid packages align with customer requirements and internal standards.

Quality & Compliance:

  • Review internal and external design packages for accuracy, cost-effectiveness, and constructability.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Monitor vendor performance and witness factory acceptance testing.

Project Support:

  • Assist with scope management, procurement, change orders, and schedule updates.
  • Support change management and resolve design-related site queries and NCRs.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Lead technical discussions with clients and manage engineering approvals.
  • Address and resolve design-related issues throughout the project.

Who you are?

  • BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 to 15 years of substation engineering experience.
  • Deep understanding of renewable energy systems (e.g., PV systems, wind turbines, inverters, substations, grid interconnection).
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEEE, NFPA).
  • Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, PVSyst, ETAP, Helioscope, Revit, or SCADA systems).
  • Problem-solving mindset and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
