Work model:

On-Site What you will do: Design and develop power and lighting systems for upscale commercial and institutional facilities Work cross-functionally with architects, mechanical engineers, and vendors to ensure integrated and efficient project execution Perform feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost estimates for electrical systems Maintain compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations in all designs Provide technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle Communicate with clients to understand their specific requirements and incorporate them into the design process Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to improve designs continuously What you will need to be successful: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred Prior experience in the design of electrical systems for commercial and institutional facilities Proficiency in relevant design software and tools Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Benefits overview: Health, dental, and vision insurance Half days on Fridays 401k PTO Interested and qualified candidates can contact Aaron Christner at (319) 449-1200 or email Aaron at achristner@thepalmergroup.com.
