Great opportunity for a Field Service Engineer, Chemist turned engineer, or electro mechanical engineer with great troubleshooting skills! We are currently recruiting a hybrid role for an Engineer in Connecticut. You will split your time between onsite (75%) and field based (25%) work with customers providing outstanding customer support – please note there is ZERO design work.

Primary Responsibilities Help customers remotely diagnose hardware and software problems and advise on repairs Provide onsite support for installation, preventative maintenance, and repair of laboratory instrumentation Deliver outstanding customer support by providing customers with training and technical support for installed instruments Document and report all repairs, product failures, design change recommendations, and other paperwork in a timely fashion

Candidate Qualifications 2+ years working with complex instrumentation (laboratory equipment experience is essential) performing installs, preventative maintenance, and repair work Electromechanical aptitude with a thorough and logical troubleshooting style Strong interpersonal skills and ability to keep cool under pressure

Salary: $70-90K annual salary Health / dental / vision 401k with company match
