Key Job Responsibilities and Duties: Develop new user-facing products and optimize existing ones using both App-side as well as server-side languages and technologies. Contributes to the processes that support the release of new features for the entire company, such as the release process, the build process, etc.

Ensures the utmost high quality of the Booking.com app in production, by monitoring crashes, firefighting incidents and solving complex bugs.

Owns the execution of technical and user interface elements in the Booking.com stack, products and processes.

Splits large tasks in manageable and decoupled steps.

Estimates and prioritises based on the implementation effort and customer impact.

Collaborates with other app developers, backend developers, product owners, and quality specialists, to constantly improve customer experience.

Contributes to Booking.com's growth through interviewing, on-boarding, or other recruitment efforts

Qualifications & Skills: 3+ years iOS application development using iOS SDK

Proven experience of Swift and SwiftUI

Good understanding of Xcode and integrating back-end code into iOS app

5+ years development experience with multiple programming languages, including but not limited to: Java, Perl, Python, C, C#, Ruby

Experience in solving technical challenges of a whole new level at large scale

Solid understanding of Service Oriented Architecture, Microservices, FP and OOP design patterns.

Experience with cloud platforms and container technologies, i.e. Amazon AWS, Docker, Kubernetes.

You own your systems end-to-end and are comfortable performing incident management.

Self-motivated to explore new technologies, applications and environments

Excellent attention to detail

Self-starter, highly motivated, team-player

Fluent English & Chinese communication skills
