Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement cutting-edge in-vehicle communication systems, covering network architecture, topology, and communication protocols.
Develop and deliver core network foundational libraries (core interfaces, packing structures, and functional topology elements) to establish a standardized and efficient platform for all future vehicles.
Create, manage, and optimize an automated pipeline for the development, testing, and release of all network communication artifacts in industry-standard formats.
Conduct thorough validation procedures for all network architecture deliverables to ensure high performance and reliability.
Utilize your network analysis expertise to drive performance improvements, focusing on data packing and communication protocol optimizations, thereby enhancing bus performance and efficiency.
Establish and implement network-specific cybersecurity and functional safety goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional architectural teams to define and standardize communication (Ethernet/CAN/LIN) attributes across the overall vehicle architecture.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field; or a combination of education and experience.
Software development background with a minimum of 2 years of experience in software engineering, particularly embedded systems.
At least 2 years of experience in Ethernet distributed systems (for Automotive, Defense, Industry, IoT, IT, etc.).
Minimum of 2 years of experience with network architecture, protocols, and communication standards.
2+ years of experience working with network analysis and simulation tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Familiarity with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles in the automotive industry.
Experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD) with Gherkin for developing clear, concise, executable specifications.
3+ years of experience with AUTOSAR Classic and Adaptive architectures.
1+ years in Ethernet Time-Sensitive Networks and IEEE 802.1AE (also known as MACsec).
Experience in developing tools and scripts for AUTOSAR Classic, AUTOSAR Adaptive, DBC, and/or ARXML formats is a plus.

This position is classified as salary grade 8.
