As a Front End Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in customer engagement, working to create intuitive experiences that help businesses better connect with their customers. Your work will directly contribute to the management of over 20 billion customer interactions daily across our services like Amazon Connect, Amazon Pinpoint, and Amazon SES. Key Responsibilities: Utilize your creativity and technical skills to explore emerging serverless AWS technologies. Engage in deep discussions about business opportunities, operational challenges, architectural design, and the customer perspective. Leverage your experience in building comprehensive web applications. Work with JavaScript frameworks such as React and Typescript. Implement responsive web design techniques using media queries. Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including scoping, UX review, code implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. A Day in the Life: Engage in bi-weekly sprint planning meetings. Attend daily standup meetings to sync with the team. Participate in weekly operational meetings, casual lunch sessions, and one-on-one career coaching. Communicate project statuses regularly and conduct collaborative project reviews with UX, PM, and engineering stakeholders. Contribute code for new features and participate in code reviews to support team growth. Foster team spirit by attending weekly events designed for building strong work relationships. Key Qualifications: 2+ years of professional front-end software development experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. 1+ years of experience in computer science fundamentals such as object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis. Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks like Angular and React. 1+ years of experience in agile software development methodologies. Familiarity with common front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node.
