The 'accel bi' is seeking an Intermediate Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, managing, and supporting cloud infrastructure and services, typically working under senior engineers or cloud architects. They handle day-to-day cloud operations, automation, and troubleshooting in cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Project Managers, Application Owners, Business Owners, Cybersecurity Engineers, and Data Administrators to design, build, test, and maintain cloud solutions for county employees, partners, and residents.
Develop and enforce governance standards for cloud resources, managing accounts, subscriptions, and access delegation.
Deploy and manage enterprise-scale IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions in hybrid cloud environments.
Implement and maintain role-based access controls (RBAC), least privilege security models, and policy-driven management.
Automate cloud infrastructure deployments using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
Configure and manage virtual networking, compute resources, enterprise applications, storage, and monitoring solutions.
Partner with Cybersecurity Engineers to design and enforce security controls following least-privilege principles.
Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and provide technical guidance to stakeholders.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cloud service security, performance, and compliance.
Basic Qualifications :
Identity and Authentication: Multi-factor Authentication (MFA), Cloud Identity Providers (SAML, OAuth 2.0)
Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) deployments using native tools (Azure BICEP, ARM) and third-party tools (Terraform, Ansible)
Designing and managing hierarchical management structures and policy-based governance in cloud environments
Cloud cost management and resource monitoring for optimized spend and efficiency
Preferred experience with Microsoft Azure and Entra ID (formerly Azure AD)
On-premises Active Directory administration and integration experience
Familiarity with Microsoft Defender for Cloud for cloud security posture management
