Our AI-powered platform helps global brands like McDonald's optimize labor forecasting, compliance, and scheduling while giving frontline workers more control over their pay, hours, and lives. We're hiring an Integration Engineer to help scale our enterprise integrations across the U.S. You'll work directly with client technology and operations teams, as well as our internal engineering and delivery teams, to implement high-impact solutions that bring the Lifelenz platform to life inside client environments. This role is hands-on, client-facing, and central to how we grow. You'll be joining early as we scale operations in North America, with the chance to help shape the product, process, and team. What You'll Do Lead and support technical discovery with client teams to define integration requirements
Customize and configure the Lifelenz platform to align with client systems and workflows
Build and maintain robust integrations using Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL
Collaborate across engineering, product, and client delivery teams to ensure smooth deployments
Diagnose integration issues and improve data processing performance
Support ongoing improvement of our data frameworks and integration playbooks
What You Bring 5+ years of backend development or systems integration experience
At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails
Strong understanding of API-driven architecture and data flows
Experience with GraphQL, PostgreSQL, background jobs, and test-driven development
Familiarity with Linux environments, cloud services (AWS or Azure), and containerization (Kubernetes)
Clear communication skills and a client-first mindset—this is a collaborative, customer-facing role
Bonus: Experience in QSR, retail tech, workforce management, or similar domains
