As an Inside Sales Engineer, you will support the Asia region, with a focus on supporting various Nuclear Power Plants. You will serve as the Westinghouse Parts Business (WPB) primary customer contact for our Asia customers by supporting sales while achieving high levels of customer satisfaction. You will have responsibility for cross-discipline decision making that includes customer interface, engineering, pricing, and supply chain. To help achieve business growth targets, you will coordinate with outside sales managers to manage standard sales opportunities and identify new or non-traditional opportunities in both current and growing markets.
You will report to the EMEA/Asia Inside Sales Manager. This is a remote position that can be performed from anywhere within the United States or Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and process customer quotations and orders for standard parts/products using Pega and SAP software/database interfaces.
Effectively manage the quote turnaround time by coordinating with internal stakeholders.
Support customers by meeting deliverable dates, providing timely and accurate communications, and providing 24/7 emergency support.
Interact with customers and Westinghouse sales support to understand expectations/needs to ensure department responsiveness and customer satisfaction.
Review and act upon weekly operational reports to achieve key performance metrics.
Work with outside sales managers, implement strategic initiatives and identify growth opportunities based on customer interactions, product knowledge, and sales history.
Interact with the Global Westinghouse Parts Business organization to review customer specifications, identify technical and commercial issues, and generate pricing.
Interface with internal Westinghouse organizations to resolve customer delivered deficiencies and support invoice resolution.
Prepare, review, edit, and help compile various reports relevant to customer satisfaction and internal metrics.
Prepare special reports with observations, trends, and recommendations to management.
Other duties as assigned with the goal to improve customer relationship and Westinghouse strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience
Bachelor Degree in business, engineering, or equivalent
Equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.
Experience with contract review, interpretation, negotiation and amendment.
Prior sales and customer service experience
