As part of an exciting new PRIME contract, we are seeking a skilled and mission-driven ISSE II to strengthen the security posture of systems critical to national defense. Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Might Include
  • Conducting technical security assessments to uncover vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with IA standards

  • Designing and implementing secure architectures across multi-enclave environments with varying classification levels

  • Embedding security features into operational systems and aligning them with NSA/CSS, NIST, and DoD frameworks

  • Advising architects and developers on selecting appropriate COTS/GOTS security controls

  • Leading efforts in risk assessment, mitigation planning, and developing secure system-to-system relationships

  • Reviewing and refining Certification & Accreditation (C&A) documentation

  • Supporting security authorization activities under RMF, DIACAP, and NISCAP

  • Maintaining situational awareness and supporting incident response, intrusion detection, and contingency planning


Minimum Qualifications
  • Clearance: TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (Required)

  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizen

  • Experience:

    • 14+ years as an ISSE supporting programs of similar scope and complexity

    • In lieu of a degree, an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related field

  • Certifications:

    • CISSP (Required)

    • Must meet DoD 8570.01-M IASAE Level II compliance


Required Skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the system security design and engineering lifecycle

  • Practical experience with RMF, DIACAP, and NISCAP frameworks

  • Ability to design, integrate, and validate Cross-Domain Solutions

  • Hands-on experience with cryptographic technologies, authentication, and authorization mechanisms

  • Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools, compliance tracking, and security testing techniques

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams

  • Proficiency in developing and reviewing C&A packages and related documentation


Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting NSA/CSS-accredited systems

  • Familiarity with automated security tools for incident response, change management, and compliance reporting

  • Background in cloud-based security architectures and secure DevSecOps pipelines

  • Working knowledge of Zero Trust architectures and emerging federal cybersecurity mandates

  • Advanced degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related technical discipline

Compensation Range: $160,000.00 - $211,000.00
