Job Title: IBM MQ/ODM Engineer

Location: Strongsville, OH (Hybrid)

Duration: 8 Months (Possible Extension)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced IBM MQ/ODM Engineer to support a key resiliency project. The successful candidate will collaborate with various development teams to modernize and optimize middleware infrastructure, eliminate deprecated code, and support platform migration. This role requires strong technical expertise in IBM middleware tools and advisory skills to work effectively with cross-functional application teams.

Job Responsibilities: Work on the resiliency project for our client's location. Assist application development teams in eliminating deprecated code and migrating to a new platform. Collaborate with teams across lending, retail operations, web, and mobile banking. Contribute to the Technology Enablers and Fail Forward Automation Resilience Project. Provide support and consultation to application development teams.

Skills Required: Proficiency in IBM MQ Series. Experience with IBM Operational Decision Manager Developer and IBM ODM v8. Knowledge of Kubernetes and OpenShift. Familiarity with RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and REST API Development. Experience with WAS Liberty and WAS ND. Familiarity with IBM ODM v9 and Helm Charts is nice to have Strong verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a consulting/advisory role with application development teams.

Education/Certifications: Experience can be considered in lieu of education. Any IBM, ODM, WebSphere, or OpenShift certification is a plus.
